Description
This handblown glass ornament combines an array of colors together and is the
perfect gift for ornament lovers! My glass ornaments also look great year-round
as suncatchers hanging in a window. They are handmade by me in my Austin, Texas
studio.
These are STOCK images of this color combination ornament. As all of my pieces
are handmade, each of my ornaments may vary in shape, color and size, making
them even more of a one of a kind piece. They may also contain small bubbles
and imperfections that commonly occur during the melting, blowing, and shaping
process.
Size/Shape:
The ornaments measure approximately 2" in diameter and approximately 2-1/2 -
3" from the top of the loop to the bottom of the glass. Though the size and
shape of the ornaments do vary slightly from one ornament to the next. The
ornament includes a hook so you can hang it right away.
Giftable Packaging Included:
Once your ornament arrives, it's only a few simple steps away from being ready
to give as a gift. Once ready, it will be beautifully packaged to look just
like the photo above. I ship my ornaments wrapped in bubble wrap inside the
gift box then surrounded by peanuts. I have gone through great lengths to
ensure that your ornament arrives to you safely.
How they’re made:
My ornaments are made by taking a clear, hollow glass rod that has a bubble on
the end and filling the ground up glass so that it sits in the bubble end of
the rod ready to be transformed into an ornament. I then evenly heat up the
bubble where all the colorful bits of glass sit and swirl around as I rotate it
round and round so as not to shock the glass bubble and making it crack. Once
hot enough the glass sticks to the inside of the bubble. I then heat the bubble
up once again and get it nice and hot to then blow it into the larger and more
beautiful ornament shape.
