I found this clock while on a day of antique shopping, and thought I could add
some detail to it! I took the clock apart and cleaned it. I drew out the base
line of my design and began to add the little mushies. I used a rust orange,
mustard yellow, deep rep, and light pink for the color scheme of the mushroom
tops. I made the stems a nice soft cream to stand out from the white back
ground. I also added dark green leaves along the bottom of the mushrooms. Soft
sage green leaves climb up the face of the clock. I went back and added in some
soft lines to give everything some dimension. The clock is fully functional
(battery included). It has black minute and hour hands, a gold second hand and
a gold rim around the face. The clock is finished with a nice light natural
wood color and has a glass face.
