This is a tabletop tree made from high-quality fabric that has a white
background with a green pine branch pattern. It is made from yo-yo's that
gradually increase in size. These are placed on a 1/4-inch dowel which is
secured to a 4-inch wooden base. The yo-yo's are stuffed with premium polyester
fiberfill before placing on the dowel. The tree is decorated to compliment the
fabric pattern with red bows, green and red jingle bells, and tiny wrapped gift
packages. The tree makes a perfect centerpiece, but could be the primary tree
in a small room or apartment. There are two sizes available. There is an option
to purchase the tree with a set of battery-operated lights, as shown with a
representative tree in the photos. The lights are tiny LED's on a silver wire.
The switch is small and can be easily hidden in the tree. The button battery
can be replaced. Yo-yo's first appeared in the 1920's on quilts and became very
popular during the Depression as a way to use fabric scraps. I have taken this
vintage pattern and designed my own variations, including trees and ornaments.
